Drivers Age
The minimum driver’s age is 18 years and the maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
No young or senior driver fees apply.

Driver’s License
Driver must present a full and valid driving license that should be valid with no major endorsements.

No minimum driving experience required. Licenses must be in Roman or English alphabet.

International Driving License is not required for non-EU licenses unless they are not in Roman characters. Licenses from the US, Canada, and Australia are accepted without IDL.

 

Insurance Coverage

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
It is included in your rental amount.
Collision damage waiver reduces the customer’s damage responsibility to the excess of up to the deposit amount.


Theft Waiver (THW)
It is included in your rental amount.
It reduces the client's financial responsibility for loss or theft of the vehicle to the sum of the deductible of up to the deposit amount.


Third Party Liability
It is included in the your rental amount.
This coverage meets the minimum legal requirements in Curaçao, providing protection for damages or injuries caused to third parties. The standard coverage limit is NAF 150,000 (approximately USD 86,000) per incident, as required by local law.

 

Excess Reduction
Additional insurance options are available.

A full insurance SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver) with no excess is available at the rental desk for USD 9 per day.

Please Note:
1. A valid Police report is mandatory, in case of an incident/ accident / damage or theft. The customer must immediately inform the rental desk about the incident.
2. Any damage due to driver negligence or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other controlled substances is not covered by insurance.
3. Insurance doesn’t cover Windows and mirrors, wheels and tire, undercarriage, engine, the car’s interior, personal belongings, lost keys, extras such as GPS or child seats.

 

Other fee:

Airport fee is included in the rental price.
1. If the vehicle keys are lost or stolen, a fee of 550 USD will apply.
2. In case of wrong fuel, a fee of USD 350 will apply.

3. If car is returned dirty, a charge of USD 50 will apply depending on the level of cleaning required.
Smoking in the car is prohibited, and if Client smoke in the car a fee of USD 250 will apply.

 

Breakdown Assistance

Breakdown assistance is available free of charge.

In case of an emergency, do not move the vehicle. You must immediately contact Curaçao Road Service (Forensys) at +599 9 461 3282. Failure to follow this procedure will result in a USD 300 fee.

If assistance is required due to customers fault a charge will apply. Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire. 

 

Off-road driving

Off-road driving is strictly prohibited. The vehicle may only be used on paved, public roads. Any damage resulting from off-road use will not be covered by insurance and will be fully charged to the customer.

 

Fuel Policy

Full to Full.
The client must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel provided at the time of check out. If the fuel tank is not returned at the same level, a fee of USD 25 plus USD 20 per ¼ tank will apply.

 

Mileage Policy

Unlimited Mileage.

 

Cross Border Travel

Cross Border is not allowed. Taking the vehicle to the ferry is not allowed.

 


VAT

VAT is included in the rental price.


Payment Methods and Deposit
Visa and Mastercard are accepted for rental payments at the desk. Debit cards and cash are also accepted for the rental amount only.
For the security deposit, only a credit card in the main driver's name is accepted.
A deposit of USD 750 will be held at the time of pick-up.

 

Delivery and Collection

Free delivery and collection are available upon request and must be arranged in advance.

 

One Way Rentals

One-way drop-off is available upon request free of charge.

 

Out of Hours

Out-of-hours service is not available after 9pm. After this time the customer must take taxi to their accommodation and vehicle will be delivered the following morning free of charge on their location.

 

Grace Period
Pick-up: 1 hour grace period from the schedule time of pickup is allowed. If the customer comes to pick up the vehicle after the grace period the booking will be considered as "No-show" or car will be provided depending on availability.

Return: 4 hour grace period is for returning vehicles. If the customer comes to return the vehicle after the grace period, one day extra charge will be applied.

 

Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipment’s depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
